 e Club of Rome envisions an interconnected world that has emerged from mul
 tiple emergencies to achieve wellbeing for all on a healthy planet. Realis
 ing this vision requires a new understanding of human development and syst
 emic transformation of education\, research\, innovation and industry towa
 rds sustainable models such as green development\, wellbeing economies and
  regeneration. Integral to this\, is the pursuit of planetary peace and hu
 man security rooted in inclusive and global cooperation.\n\nAs a global ne
 twork of notable individuals from diverse sectors (science\, public servic
 e\, industry\, finance\, civil society\, etc)\, The Club of Rome is commit
 ted to nurturing sense-making and decision-making towards ecological civil
 isations. Emphasising pluriversality it builds on the humanity and capacit
 y of everybody\, promoting a diversity of pathways grounded in varied ecos
 ystems\, histories\, cultures and economies.\n\nAlongside partners like th
 e World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS)\, The Club of Rome helped launch
  the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development 2024-203
 3 (IDSSD)\, with its first public event held in April 2024 in Beijing. Thi
 s conference builds on that foundation offering a platform for Chinese and
  international institutions to collaborate on implementing ecological civi
 lisations\, with a focus on country specific strategies such as China’s 
 greening of industry and the broader economy.\n\nThis conference will brin
 g together participants from diverse countries to explore practical pathwa
 ys toward ecological civilisations\, grounded in varied national and cultu
 ral contexts. It seeks to build a shared understanding of humanity’s cur
 rent position in achieving equitable wellbeing within planetary boundaries
 \, redefine concepts of wellbeing and human development and harness the co
 mbined strengths of science\, technology\, traditional knowledge and the a
 rts. The event will also showcase community-based examples\, inspire globa
 l collaboration\, and identify concrete actions and a joint programme of w
