DESCRIPTION:The Club of Rome is a participating partner in the 2024 Global 
 Ethics Forum in Geneva\, Switzerland. The forum is an essential platform t
 o explore the future of the world and humanity from an ethical leadership 
 perspective. It is grounded in an evidence-based understanding of current 
 realities and the belief in a just\, inclusive\, and sustainable future fo
 r all. The forum responds to the urgent need for ethical leadership to nav
 igate the multifaceted challenges of our time\, including global polarisat
 ion\, environmental crises\, and the rise of new technologies like artific
 ial intelligence (AI).\n\nThe event will feature discussions on peace\, su
 stainability\, the digital revolution\, and higher education\, all through
  the lens of ethical leadership. Particular emphasis will be placed on int
 ercultural dialogue\, societal engagement for depolarisation and conflict 
 prevention\, the impact of AI on higher education\, and the role of ethica
 l leadership beyond compliance frameworks. The forum will bring together o
 ver 50 speakers from various sectors\, including governments\, internation
 al organisations\, businesses\, philanthropy\, academia\, and civil societ
 y.\nFostering Intergenerational Dialogue and Action on the Ethics of AI\nW
 ednesday\, 4 September 2024\, 12:00-13:00 CEST\nIn-person: Maison de la Pa
 ix\, Geneva\, Switzerland\n\nThe Club of Rome will co-organise this panel 
 session to explore the ethics of AI and its implications for future genera
 tions. The panel will bring together voices from different age groups to d
 iscuss how AI can be harnessed ethically to benefit society as a whole. It
  is aimed at fostering dialogue that bridges generational gaps\, ensuring 
 diverse perspectives contribute to shaping a just and equitable technologi
