DESCRIPTION:The 53rd annual St. Gallen Symposium will delve into the multif
 aceted\, emerging challenges posed by scarcity and tackle the difficult qu
 estions they raise: To what extent can innovation\, efficiency\, and circu
 lar models help to deal with intensifying constraints? And where do we nee
 d to consider deeper\, more radical shifts and ask whether less may\, in f
 act\, be more?\n\nThe Club of Rome and the St. Gallen Symposium are collab
 orating on a joint initiative for “A New Generational Contract” tha
 t researches\, highlights\, and advocates for cross-generational leadershi
 p and learning as a lever shift towards long-term\, regenerative strategie
 s in business and policy-making.\n\n\n\n\nIntergenerational Leadership for
  Sustainable Development\n3 May 11:00-12:30 CEST\nUniversity of St Gallen 
 (Square 3)\nThe Club of Rome will host this workshop session addressing th
 e urgent need for a shift from extractive practices to a regenerative econ
 omy. In dialogue with two leading experts\, participants will explore how 
 meaningful youth engagement and intergenerational leadership can help tran
