DESCRIPTION:The Slovenian Association for the Club of Rome and the Centre f
 or Professors Emeriti and Retired Higher Education Teachers of the Univers
 ity of Maribor are organising an introductory presentation of the book Ea
 rth for All: A Survival Guide for Humanity\, in collaboration with The Clu
 b of Rome and Earth4All.\n\nThe book presents the results of a two-year re
 search project\, the outcome of a collaboration between the Earth4All Tran
 sformational Economics Commission and a system dynamics modelling team. Th
 eir findings were published in September 2022 in the form of a book\, a su
 rvival guide to help humanity avert ecological and social catastrophe.\n\n
 The book explores two scenarios beginning in 1980 and ending in 2100. Thes
 e scenarios entitled “Too little\, Too late” and “Giant Leap” expl
 ore how population\, economies\, resource use\, pollution\, wellbeing and 
 social tensions might change this century based on decisions made this dec
 ade. The Giant Leap scenario is achievable if societies adopt unprecedente
 d and immediate action across five interconnected turnarounds: poverty\, i
 nequality\, empowerment\, food\, and energy.\n\nEvent programme:\n\n 	Intr
