Webinar series: Voices for Peace
30 October 2025 14:00 - 15:00 (CET)
Online

Voices for Peace: From Conflict to Transformation is a webinar series that explores emerging perspectives on peacebuilding, with a focus on systems thinking, youth leadership, and the concept of Planetary Peace. Drawing from both global frameworks and grassroots experiences, the series aims to deepen understanding of peace as a multidimensional and interconnected process. Guided by the principles of the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda, the series creates space for dialogue between young leaders, scholars, and practitioners working to build inclusive, just, and sustainable peace in their communities and beyond. Each session will address different dimensions of peacebuilding, offering participants the opportunity to engage with expert insights and share reflections across sectors and generations. Every society holds the power to be more than a collection of individuals — it can be a community rooted in safety, trust and shared healing. Through collective reflection and dialogue, the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation shows how we can move from breakdown to breakthrough, nurturing spaces where justice and peace can take root. In our next Webinar Series Voices for Peace: “Remembering our way forward: A conversation on collective healing,” we’ll explore an emergent framework for societal healing — one that invites us to tend to the “soil” of safety and flow with the “river” of transformation. Together, we’ll explore:

How collective healing can rebuild trust in fractured communities
The transformative power of dialogue and shared humanity
